Online Training

Our online training is a convenient and flexible way to become compliant in Food Safety. The online training courses provide an engaging and interesting user experience in order to learn, by creating interesting scenarios and using imagery to reinforce the learning experience. Our online courses are available 24/7.

Our online training courses have been developed by our experienced Food Safety Professionals. The courses equip food workers with the basic tools to work safely in their food environment.

On-site training is particularly suitable for a new business where staff require training in a short time period or for staff who require a refresher in safe food practices.

Our current offering of online courses are:

1. FREE Food Allergy Training for Food Businesses

This course takes approximately 15 minutes to complete. The course explores the topic of Food Allergies and what the caterer needs to know to comply with Food Safety Regulations.

2. Food Safety, HACCP and Allergen Awareness Training (Food Safety Authority of Ireland 2. Level 1)

This course will take around 2 hours to complete. Upon successful completion, Cater Care will issue a certificate.

The core content consists of 8 modules:

  1. Introduction to Food Safety and Hazards
  2. Introduction to HACCP
  3. Monitoring
  4. Safe Food Handling
  5. Personal Hygiene
  6. Cleaning
  7. Pest Control
  8. Allergen Awareness
3. Food Safety Requirements and Safe Liftings Skills

This 25 minute course provides food workers with an understanding of basic Food Safety requirements and basic safe lifting skills.
